THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
2008 turned out to be our BEST YEAR EVER!
Over 130 bikes joined our run and 400+ people came to the benefit party.
We raised $8,042 and 1,815 pounds of
food for The Food Bank of WNY!
We surpassed last year's cash donations by over two
thousand dollars!
*Last year (2007) we raised $5,884 and 3,007 pounds of
food
(1,973 lbs from us and 1034 lbs from Ruben Brown himself)
2008 was our 8th year, and we always strive to build on
what we did the year before.
The admission price is always very reasonable...
FREE, and that is due to our generous sponsors, who are a true testament to the
spirit of this community. The sponsors allow us to cover all production and
promotion expenses so that 100% of the proceeds go to The Food Bank of WNY, as
well as the food donations.
Please support our Generous Sponsors below!
Please help us spread the word by printing
and distributing our Basic 2009 Flyer.
HELP!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
HELP!
Do you like to meet people, have fun AND help out a great cause?
The Food Bank Motorcycle Run Committee 2009
is looking for new members NOW!
The planning and promoting for next year's event has already started and your help is desperately
needed to make 2009 BIGGER and BETTER than ever before!
No event planning experience necessary! Reliability and honesty are more
important!
Each month, 91,000 hungry Western New Yorkers turn to soup
kitchens, food pantries, and other emergency food providers -- 40% are children!
The Food Bank of WNY
is a nonprofit clearinghouse for food solicited from the private sector. The
Food Bank distributes product to approximately 500 charitable programs that feed
the needy in Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie and Niagara Counties. These include
food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, day care centers, senior
citizen programs, and residential and day programs for the handicapped, youth
and those undergoing drug and alcohol rehabilitation.
If you are interested in joining the committee and/or helping out IN ANY WAY please contact Lori Stachowiak
at 716-852-1305 or development@foodbankwny.org.
