Carolyn on Dave O's Custom Panhead Chopper

"In the spirit of David Mann and Indian Larry, this is Old-School Done Right!"

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past couple years, you most likely have seen the Discovery Channel and Learning Channel specials which feature the cool High-Dollar Old-School Customs created by...
American Chopper - Orange County Choppers
,
Jesse James - West Coast Choppers,
Billy Lane - Choppers Inc., and
Indian Larry - Gasoline Alley
...

Well here's one that would get a BIG THUMBS UP from all those guys!

It pretty much goes without saying that the Panhead engine is the most aesthetically pleasing
engine that the Harley-Davidson Motor Company has ever made.  If you like the look of
the '50s &'60s but the performance and reliability of the new millennium,
this S&S engine is just the right ticket.

Many more pictures below.

This bike draws a crowd anywhere it is parked.  Most guys say it reminds them of a bike David Mann would have painted for Easyriders Magazine  Other people have said it looks like a bike Indian Larry would have built!  It even has billet Iron Cross mirrors made by Aeromach Mfg., the same company who made the mirrors for the Orange County Choppers/American Chopper Fire Bike.

This is an "Old School"  Custom Panhead Chopper built with all the high-tech, reliable, performance parts of the 21st century. No expense was spared!  It is built to last with only the finest components.   It rides nice and low with a seat height of about 24 inches.

Designed by Dave O. from Cyberspokes and built by Gordy Welfare and Chuck Hallifax the master custom bike builders at V-Twin Cycles - Buffalo, New York. V-Twin has been building bikes since 1988 and they have had their fine work featured in Easyrider, IronWorks and  Biker magazines. This bike was done by the pros.  Built all the way from the frame up.

Powered by an awesome S&S 96 cubic-inch stroker engine (USA made) pumping out a massive 1600 cc's.  This baby has braided cables and electrical wiring hidden in the handlebars.  Done with a perfect balance of chrome and a nostalgic powder-coated finish, to give you more time to ride and less time polishing.

The engine is an all S&S.  It has a 3-5/8 bore  4-5/8 stroke (-vs- standard stroke of 4-1/4). The compression is 10:1 and it's rated at 106 horsepower. S&S Roller Rockers and a S&S 561 cam complete the power plant.  S & S Cycle is the world's leading manufacturer of high-performance carburetors and engine parts for the American V-twin motorcycle.
