May is motorcycle safety awareness month and we’re kicking off our 2023 season with the 2nd annual Bikes, Blues & BBQ festival. Headlining the event is The Soul Men backed by a full band. Their performance was action packed, fun and interactive with the crowd. Their energy and enthusiasm was contagious! Very good Impersonators of the Blues Brothers. The Wyoming County American Legion Riders Chapter #532 are proud to sponsor our Memorial Weekend Motorcycle Run to benefit local Veterans and Youth needs. Start/Finish for this event is at the Wyoming County Veterans Club at 245 West Buffalo St. Warsaw, NY 14569. Registration starts at 10am with coffee and doughnuts, KSU is at 11:30am. We are kicking the weekend off with a bike parade from Collins Fire, through the Village of Gowanda, and ending at the Gowanda Moose. $20 early registration until May 5th. $30 May 6th until the day of the event. Jason Dragoo of Buffalo Choppers passed away on November 29th, 2022, unexpectedly during a surgical procedure. Jay had no life insurance and left behind a wife and 2 sons. He was the primary source of income. Now his wife is faced with mounding medical bills and expenses. Jason was well-loved by everyone who met him. Please join us so we can help relieve some of the financial burden that his family was unprepared for. Saturday July 15, 2023 – “Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway of Valor Tribute Ride”
Motorcycles, cars, trucks, jeeps, plans and helicopters welcome! This is our 16th Annual! Sponsored by Vietnam Veterans of America Chapters 377, 480 and Chapter 704, also by Blue Knights Chapter 17. The Ride forms up 8am-10am at the Owego Free Academy on Sheldon Guile Blvd., in Owego, NY, and departs from there at 11 am, riding North on State Route 38 for the 100-mile ride.
