 | American Legion Riders - Southern
Tier
-In 1993, at an American Legion post in Michigan, an idea
was originated to start a motorcycle association that would operate within
the American Legion. Today, that organization is known as the American
Legion Riders (ALR) and can be found participating in parades, partaking in
motorcycling events, and supporting the American Legion and the communities
in which they live, work, and play. Members of the ALR come from the Legion,
the Legion Auxiliary, and the Sons of the American Legion. There are 963 ALR
chapters across the country and one of those chapters is located here in
Erie County. The membership in this ALR chapter consists of members from
several American Legion Posts in Erie County and new members from any
American Legion Post are always welcome to join! We are the Legion Riders,
Southern Tier Chapter and can be reached at American Legion Post #567 in
Orchard Park, NY or by mail at P.O. Box 353, Elma, NY 14059 or via E-Mail: LegionRidersST@gmail.com |
